SCHOOLS FORCED TO SEEK PUPILS' VIEWS ON DISCIPLINE
TELEGRAPH.CO.UK, Last Updated: 4:01PM GMT 14 Nov 2008

I don’t think this is a good idea as this may lead to the distraction to the school itself as this shows that the discipline will be controlled by the pupils who are not mature to think and make the right decision on things that even the adults have difficulty to solve and control it. i.e. discipline. I think its good for the school to consider what their pupils are aware about and take into account what their pupils want and then discuss among the school peers on what is the right thing to do; not give the rights for the pupils to make decision. The decision makers also must give some reason why they choose this instead of the other as the pupils will not protest if their views is not selected when they know what is the lack ness of their views. The important thing is that the tutors itself must show the good attitude towards discipline and be a role model for their pupils because how come the pupils obey the discipline if they saw that the adults also doesn’t obey it at all.

LESS THAN SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS' SLEEP COULD INCREASE RISK OF HEART ATTACK
TELEGRAPH.CO.UK, Last Updated: 10:37AM GMT 11 Nov 2008

In my opinion we should take care of our health as it might affect us if we ignore it. Other than doubling the risk of getting heart disease; lack of sleep also increase child's injuries; might have risk of diabetes, aging and chronic stress; will be in risk of becoming overweight; will cause sleep disorder which could lead to insomnia, snoring and nightmares; give impacts on the balance of our hormone; double the risk of death due to cardiovascular disease and so on. So we should try to sleep as early as we can but not too early and don't have too much sleep as this also make our body to be unhealthier. We also have to control our food habit, eat more vegetables and fruits rather than food that contain much oily substances. Exercises also need to be done regularly only for 30 minutes. We do not have to pay high only to make us fit. It will be enough if we can do some sports that we like or take a walk with our family.

BABY P : HARINGEY COUNCIL 'BROKE ITS OWN RULES ON CASELOADS FOR SOCIAL WORKERS'.
TELEGRAPH.CO.UK, Last Updated: 8:36PM GMT 17 Nov 2008

Social worker cannot be trusted to take care our children because nowadays most of them work for money. Actually, the social worker are not willing to help parents who use their service, especially people who busy working and does not have time. They do not take much responsibility about their client’s children because the kids are not their sons or their daughter. So they do not really take much care. In the past, we rarely heard about children abuses by them as the social worker at that time have responsibility, like to help each other and the important thing is they really love kids. A social worker should have a high level of patient to deal with not only children but the aging people as well. Because of the impatience of the workers the abuses happened. It will be worse if they are tired or in stress of having workload or problems. In conclusion, we must not trust anybody to deal with our children whether they are our own family such as grandmother or the social workers.
